Elbow Lake

Cascades is home to the serene and private Elbow Lake. On top of swimming during the summer months, we offer numerous other activities based out of the waterfront. We’ve added comfortable patio seating for onlookers to enjoy, too!

Cost: Reservation required for private use  |  Restrictions: Some options are seasonal  |  Capacity: n/a

Swimming

Dive into Elbow Lake to cool off during the hot summer months. Have fun splashing around in the shallow section or swim out to the deeper section and to do some cannonballs! (Seasonal.)

Blob

If you’re a thrill seeker, try the “Blob” – our giant pillow of air floating atop Elbow Lake. Jump off the Blob dock, crawl to the far end, then have a friend jump down and catapult you into the water. The Blob is definitely a Cascades favorite! (Seasonal.)

Inflatable Obstacle Courses

Climb, hurdle, and race a friend to the finish line on our inflatable obstacle courses! (Seasonal.)

Paddle Boarding

Explore the beautiful, hidden gems of Elbow Lake on a paddle board and take in the serene beauty. Take one out yourself to enjoy some solitude, or go with a friend to have some good conversation. (Seasonal.)

Cascades Camp Waterfront

Boating

At your request, boating is available to your group. Cascades canoes and rowboats accommodate 1-3 passengers at a time, and kayaks accommodate 1-2 passengers at a time – all of which are a favorite pastime of many! All guests must wear life jackets and children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. (Kayaks are seasonal. Canoes and rowboats are available year-round.)

Fishing

Grab your fishing pole and some bait and head out to Elbow Lake to try your hand at catching the big one! Follow a short trail to the left of the swimming section and end up on the fishing dock, or head out in a row boat to see if the fish are biting.
