Cascades offers a variety of free activities to entertain all ages of guests during their time with us.

These activities include but are not limited to boating, fishing, hiking, biking, Frisbee golf, basketball, tennis, volleyball, playground toys, field games, swimming, and more!

Boating & Fishing

Cascades offers canoes and rowboats for guests to enjoy a leisurely float on Elbow Lake. Some guests even bring their fishing gear to try to catch the big one from either a boat or our fishing dock.

Hiking, Biking, & Scenic Viewpoints

With over 1,000 acres to explore, Cascades is filled with hiking and biking trails – many of which lead to beautiful scenic viewpoints. Enjoy a hike around the Red Wing Marsh, take your daily run into the woods, explore the grounds on your bike, or just wander and see the numerous picturesque views of Mt. Rainier all around Cascades.

Frisbee Golf

Grab some of your friends, one of our frisbees, and a map to see the grounds as you navigate our Frisbee golf course at your own pace.

Basketball, Tennis, & More

The Sport Court offers a perfect place to play a number of different games. Like basketball? Come play a game of full-court, half-court, 3-on-3, or PIG! Our side-by-side tennis courts allow for the whole family or group of friends to play tennis together. Other great uses of the Sport Court include four-square, dodge ball, or pickleball.

Volleyball

Head over to the sand volleyball court and challenge your buddies to a friendly game of volleyball. Whether it’s a full on game or just 2-on-2, you’re sure to have a good time!

Playground

Let the children in your group use their imaginations as they play games and explore on our epic playground! With a rock wall, monkey bars, slides, and more, the younger crowd will love this special place to play.

Field Games

Cascades has several large grassy fields to play games. Whether it’s baseball, kickball, or Capture the Flag, if you need a wide open space to play, we definitely have something to fit your needs!

Swimming

Feeling a little warm? The waterfront is the perfect place to cool off! During the hot summer months, go for a swim in Elbow Lake at our waterfront, which features the famous “Blob” attraction and epic inflatable obstacle courses! (Seasonal.)
