Additional Meeting Spaces

Cascades offers many additional spaces to enhance your retreat experience.

Whether it’s additional classrooms or breakout meeting space, we have what you need and can set it up to your exact specifications. Need an outdoor space? We have those, too! Enjoy gatherings around the campfire, worship under the stars, or a gathering simply in the midst of God’s majestic creation. (Additional reservation fees may apply to these spaces.)

Longmire & Glacier Rooms

Connected to Rainier Center and conveniently located in the heart of the conference center, these rooms offer a wide variety of configurations for maximum flexibility for your group’s needs. Each room measures 24’x24’. Moving walls allow the rooms to be used individually, combined, or even added onto the main room of Rainier Center. Tables, chairs, easels, and podiums can be set up to your specifications. Use these flexible spaces as classrooms, for a workshop or seminar, breakout sessions, children’s classes, or even as a prayer room. Each room has a total capacity of up to 35 people depending on setup.

Liberty Ridge Center

Situated in the picturesque Liberty Ridge Campground area with stunning views of Mt. Rainier, Liberty Ridge Center can also be an additional meeting space for your event. Room measures 36’x48’ with attached restrooms and can easily be set up to whatever your specifications. Perfect for larger groups needing additional breakout spaces for seminars and workshops. Liberty Ridge Center has a total capacity of 100 people depending on setup.

Amphitheater at Camp Timber Rock

Tucked into the hillside near the log cabins at Camp Timber Rock, the Amphitheater looks out into a peaceful valley and is open to the stars at night. Elevated seating makes for great views of the valley, stage area, and custom stone fire pit. The Amphitheater has a total capacity of 145 people.

Deep Woods Chapel at Brightwood Station

Nestled quietly in the woods near Brightwood Station, Deep Woods Chapel is a quaint space for groups to gather outdoors around the campfire. Deep Woods Chapel features a large stone fire circle and stage, surrounded by wooden benches that can seat up to 145 people.

Lakeside Chapel

A short hike from Lakeside Lodge and just off the shores of Elbow Lake you’ll find Lakeside Chapel – an open-air chapel featuring elevated benches, a stone fire circle, and great views of the lake surrounded by magnificent madrona trees. Lakeside Chapel has a seated capacity of 75 people.

Cedarwood Chapel

Tucked away in a scenic clearing next to Timberidge Lodge, Cedarwood Chapel features wooden benches arching around a stone fire circle and a stage area. Cedarwood Chapel is a peaceful setting for chapel gatherings or making s’mores, and can accommodate up to 200 people.

Sun Deck at the Waterfront

Set at the waterfront just up from the beach and next to the waterfall is the sun deck. With additional seating seasonally, this spot offers fun and breathtaking views of Elbow Lake – a great space for your group to gather at the waterfront.

Nisqually Patio

Just off the dining room of Nisqually Center is the patio. Open seasonally for dining, this space also features built-in benches and seasonal bistro furniture that makes not only for a great space to enjoy our fine meals, but also a comfortable outdoor meeting space as well.
