About Rainier Kids Day Camp

Rainier Kids Day Camp provides the perfect opportunity to get outside and play! Your camper will have a blast hanging out with new friends and awesome counselors, eating tasty lunches, and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities in Cascades’ wilderness. Rainier Kids Day Camp is the safe, smart, and economical choice for your camper’s daytime summer fun.

New in 2025

We know that now more than ever, kids need environments where they can receive our undivided attention and support. Our heartfelt desire is to meet the ever-evolving needs of our campers, and in 2025 we will do that by focusing on one week of youth camp at a time. This summer we will offer two weeks of Brightwood Station followed by two weeks of Camp Timber Rock, and then three weeks of Rainier Kids Day Camp, providing a similar capacity to last summer’s overnight programs. This decision comes from our commitment to excellence in everything we do. By focusing on one camp each week, our staff can give our full energy and attention to creating the safest, most impactful experience possible for your camper. Thank you for being a part of the Cascades family. It’s a privilege to be a part of your summer plans!

What You’ll Experience

Summertime is all about enjoying the day, playing outside, and being creative; that’s exactly what your camper can expect at Rainier Kids Day Camp. Our trained and caring counselors come alongside campers to provide fun and engaging activities all day long. A daily lesson time gives campers a chance to hear exciting Bible stories and sing fun songs. Field games provide a chance to stretch your legs and run, while skill-building activities will stretch your mind.

Camps run Monday through Friday. Drop off is at 9am and pick up is at 4pm.

TIERED PRICING MODEL

We say it often, but it deserves to be repeated: we want every child to have the opportunity to come to Cascades, regardless of their financial situation. This pricing model makes programs at Cascades accessible to families that may not otherwise be able to send their children to camp. We’re grateful to those who can afford the unsubsidized “true” cost for supporting this effort to broaden our reach as we seek to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Tier #1 | The unsubsidized “true” cost of camp for families who can afford it.

Tier #2 | A subsidized option for families who need extra financial assistance to be able to experience Cascades programs.

Tier #2 pricing does not need to be applied for. It will automatically apply during registration if selected. For families that need additional support, we offer a need-based sponsorship program with an online application process.
